The Characteristics of Curriculum
Our comprehensive and cohesive curriculum is tailor-made according to our students’ needs. The well-designed curriculum aims at nurturing students’ all-round abilities. A variety of skills can be developed through our curriculum. They are communication skill, independent learning skill, problem-solving skill, and so forth. These all can facilitate students to achieve all-round development and develop positive learning attitude.
Apart from focusing on academic achievement, our school emphasizes on whole person development. Our curriculum, therefore, is designed for broadening students’ horizon. In order to engage with the New Senior Syllabus, our school took the lead in conducting the subject, Liberal Studies, in Form 1 and Form 2. Besides, Drama in Education is launched in junior forms. Students’ creativity and motivation to learn are initiated through using the dramatic performances and techniques. In addition, the Life Education pilots our students to recognize and understand self-image and positive social value.
Our school implements the Cross-curriculum Project enthusiastically. This project motivates students to learn actively outside the classrooms. In senior forms, students are arranged to take part in the Company Programme and Junior Achievement Hong Kong in order to give our students chances to obtain working experiences in the real world.
