Hua Xia Cup Mathematics Olympiad Contest 2012(First Round)
On 1 January 2012, our students, under the training from Mr CHAN Yiu Kwong and Mr TAI Chiu Kei, went to SKH Li Fook Hing Secondary School to participate in Hua Xia Cup Mathematics Olympiad Contest 2012, which was organized by the Hong Kong Mathematical Olympiad Association. They got outstanding results.

1B YEUNG Chun Yat, 2C HO Tat Yin won First Prizes.
1C LO Chun Ho, 2B LEE Siu Hin won Second Prizes.
1A CHAU Pak Him, KWOK Fai Yeung, HUNG Hoi Ip, 2A LAM Ka Kiu, 2C CHEUNG Chun Ting won Third Prizes.

Champion of Centenary of Xinhai Revolution Speech Competition

5E Chan Sin Ying (with Mr. Chan Chuen Tak’s training) performed well, who has won the champion of Centenary of Xinhai Revolution speech competition. 1C Lui San Yi has won the second runner-up (guided by Mr. Sit Tin Pui). Congratulation!

On 10 December 2011, our students, under the training from Mr CHAN Yiu Kwong and Mr TAI Chiu Kei, went to Shun Tak Fraternal Association Seaward Woo College to participate in the 3rd Super 24 Contest, which was organized by Shun Tak Fraternal Association Seaward Woo College.

1A HUNG Hoi Ip, 1B LAW Cheuk Kit and 1B YEUNG Chun Yat performed very well. Competing against nearly 300 students, HUNG Hoi Ip won Second Prize, LAW Cheuk Kit and YEUNG Chun Yat won Third Prize in competition. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Cheung King Man (left) and Tsang So Wa (3rd from left) of class 4E! With dedicated training by Miss Angela Lau and Ellen Kau respectively, Cheung has won the first runner-up of Solo Verse Speaking (Non-open, S4 Girls) in the 63rd Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival on 22 November, while Tsang has won the second runner-up in the same event.

Hong Kong PHAB Association Slogan Design Competition Merit Award

The Hong Kong PHAB Association has just notified us that 5E Wong Hiu Ki has won a merit award in the slogan design competition.

The prize giving ceremony was held on 8 December 2011 (Thursday) at Pokfulam PHAB Camp (75 Pok Fu Lam Reservoir Rd)

4c CHEUNG SING HO was awarded the prize of best debater in the 13th Basic Law Cup Debating Competition of Secondary Schools (1st round) which was held on 8 October 2011 (Saturday) at Chan Shu Kui Memorial School.

LCCI award

More than 20 students studying BAFS attended public examinations held by the London Chamber of Commerce Institute. Six of them passed the Level one examination. Among them Kot Ki Yan (6B) and Leung Hong Tung (6D) passed with Merit.

Besides, 13 students passed the Level two examination. Siu Tsz Kwun (6C) , Hui Sze Lok, Lee Oi Yan and Tse Wing Shan (6D) passed with Merit, while Wong Wai Ho (6B), Wong Shan Shan, Wong Sze Man, Yeung Fu Ki (6D) passed with Distinction.

Merit Award in Sowers Action Booth Game Design Competition

Our students had participated in the Booth Game Design Competition organized by Sowers Action. They gave an excellent proposal for the design, which promoted them to the final round of the competition. A real, solid booth was made in the final and their effort was appreciated with the merit award. The students are:

On 4July, 2011, our students participated in a slogan creation competition called "Teenagers in Kung. Under the guidance of different teachers, some of our students achieved outstanding results. They are:

YUEN LOK YIU(2C) won the championship. under the supervision of Ms Tsoi.
YUEN LOK YIU(4C) became the 1st runner-up, under the guidance of Ms.lai.
HUI YAN YEE(3A) took the third place, under the coaching of Ms. Tsoi.
LAM CHEUK YING(4E)and CHAN HOI WAI(3A)got the merit award.
